Employee Spotlight: Dustin Birth

Meet Dustin Birth, our Equipment Yard Coordinator in Fort Smith, AR! 

Dustin is one of our most well-traveled employees. He was born in Fort Stewart, GA, raised in Tumwater, WA, and currently lives near Dora, AR. 

As a Yard Coordinator, Dustin is constantly moving equipment to different parts of the yard. This includes the ready line, the dock, the wash bay, and staging. He said that “all different kinds of equipment is dropped off and taken out every day–some new and some old.” Dustin loves the “good vibes” at Hugg & Hall. His favorite thing about his job is testing equipment, cleaning it to near-pristine condition, and working outside. 

Dustin is also a veteran. After his most recent deployment, he turned down reenlistment, a promotion, and a chance to be Active Guard Reserve for the AR National Guard for the opportunity to pursue a different career path.

In addition to an enjoyable new job, Dustin now gets to spend more time with his wife. His favorite activities all include spending time with her: “binge watching shows or movies, or getting together and hanging out with our friends. We go out to shoot pool, go bowling, or go to the shooting range. Sometimes I stay home and hop on the game system, but I mostly love just having small weekend getaways with the wife out of town.” 

We always love to know our employee’s favorite quotes. Dustin’s is from Henry Kravis. “If you don’t have integrity, you have nothing. You can’t buy it. You can have all the money in the world, but if you are not a moral and ethical person, you really have nothing.”
